•Managed Mobile Device Management (MMDM) — enterprise-grade mobile security and device management for Canadian small businesses
•SilverTech by Fortress — patient, in-home technology support and training for seniors
•Fortress Workspace — a mobile security subscription service for self-employed professionals, operated under a separate Privacy Policy available at fortressworkspace.ca
This Privacy Policy applies to the Managed MDM and SilverTech services and to your use of fortresstechnicalsolutions.ca. Fortress Workspace subscribers should refer to the Fortress Workspace Privacy Policy at fortressworkspace.ca for information specific to that service.

When you contact us, request a consultation, or engage our services, we may collect:

When we provide services at your home or business premises, or manage your organization’s mobile devices, we may collect:
•Device information necessary to configure, manage, or support your technology (such as device model, operating system, and serial numbers)
•Network configuration details required to set up or troubleshoot your home or business WiFi
•Account credentials you choose to share with us for the purpose of completing a setup or support task — these are used only for that purpose and are never stored by usWe collect only the information necessary to deliver the specific service you have requested.
2.3 Website Visitors
When you visit fortresstechnicalsolutions.ca, our website platform (Wix) may collect standard analytics data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time on site. This is used to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. It is governed by Wix’s own privacy policy.

•Technology vendors — for Managed MDM clients, device management is carried out using Mosyle Business (iOS) and Samsung Knox Manage (Android). These vendors process device management data as part of delivering the service.
•Legal requirements — we may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or protect the safety of any person.We do not share personal information collected in the course of SilverTech in-home visits with any third party, except as required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to deliver our services and meet our legal obligations. Specifically:
•Client contact and service records are retained for a minimum of 7 years following the end of the engagement, as required for tax and financial record-keeping under Canadian law
•Contact form submissions and email enquiries that do not result in an engagement are retained for up to 2 years
•Device configuration details are deleted once the service engagement is complete and the information is no longer needed
You may request deletion of your personal information at any time. We will honour deletion requests to the extent permitted by law.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, and loss. These include:
•Using secure, encrypted email and communication channels where possible
•Not storing account credentials or sensitive configuration details beyond the immediate service need
•Limiting access to client information to personnel directly involved in service delivery

Our Managed MDM service is intended for businesses and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. Our SilverTech service is provided to adults. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
